Coming so close to E3, the timing on this offer is super suspicious, but on the face of it this seems like a good deal. From today through June 8, if you buy a PS Vita from Amazon, you’ll get a $50 credit. Use it to get PlayStation Plus and start playing Gravity Rush and all the other free stuff! Or preorder Dragon’s Crown! Or pick up my favorite RPG ever, Persona 4 Golden! Or PSN credit for Sound Shapes! Or subscribe to monthly deliveries of some diapers or something, I don’t know.

Why is it suspicious? The cynical part of me thinks that if there’s a big discount like this before E3, Sony could announce a price drop at the show. But if it’s $50, same deal! Who knows what’s going to happen at E3 anyway.

As a followup to my twitter post, working for Lab Zero will not mean that I’ll be abandoning any of my duties on ZONE-Archive, or giving up making adult artwork/animations. It also did not influence my decision to promote the donation drive in any way as I only found out that I would be working for them a few hours after I finished the ZTV News Extra video that I put up on YouTube and Newgrounds.

I’m extremely lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with such a talented team, and I hope that I can do good work for them. And no, I can’t add any frames with nipples in them, sorry. I will make sure that parts jiggle as much as possible though.

Various gamers are reporting that they participated in a survey related to Dragon Age 3. The survey hinted at possible features for the game and also included potential artwork for the characters.

According to this NeoGAF post, the continent of Thedas is in chaos. Orlais is in the midst of a civil war and the Mage circles are in rebellion. The Chantry, meanwhile, is devastated by a magical blast that takes out most of the leadership.

Players will take on the role of an Inquisitor and combat the mysterious conspiracy behind all of these events. You make a character based on one of three classes (warrior, rogue, mage) and assemble a team of companions to fight these dark forces. You’ll also create an army, send out spies, and engage in political intrigue. Sounds a bit like the castle management from Neverwinter Nights 2.

The survey also gauged participants’ reactions to a few possible features. Online co-op modes, player-controlled day cycle, and a five-character party were all mentioned. The mention of co-op isn’t a shock, considering therumors of Dragon Age arena-based multiplayer. Also, BioWare recently introduced co-op to their other major single-player RPG series, Mass Effect.

The first indication of a third Dragon Age came in March. Dragon Ageexecutive producer Mark Darrah revealed that they had cancelled a planned expansion for DA2 and moved on to the “next phase” of the series. No details were revealed beyond that.

BioWare has apparently settled on calling this game Dragon Age 3. However, the survey indicates that they’re considering a subtitle, too. Here’s the list of possible names:

Dragon Age 3: The Breach

Dragon Age 3: Exarch

Dragon Age 3: Inquisition

Dragon Age 3: Inquisitor

Dragon Age 3: Apocrypha

Inquisitor sounds like the winner of that pack. It seems like the Inquisitors are the main focus of the game, after all. Plus, I have my doubts that anyone would release a game with the word Apocrypha in the title.

A few samples of potential character designs are [here]. To my eye, they look similar to the artistic style from DA2.
